Little Nothing by Marisa Silver

I got the opportunity to read this book recently from Penguin Group Publishers, and I am so excited that I get the chance to talk about it with you guys.

I gave this book a 3.5 out of 5 stars.

I liked the quote at the beginning, all the names of the people in the book are beautiful, like the main character. Her name is “Pavla” which means “Little”. I like the fact that there are words and names from another language in it.There are many historical references in it which I like because my favorite genre is Historical fiction.

At the beginning of the book the mother hates her child but then grows to lover her which is a cool character development. The first few pages were hard to read, as a parent I can’t imagine hating my child. The book gets a little confusing at certain parts and ends up being a pretty sad story but all in all, it was a good one time read story.

Now, Im not a fan of some of the crude and bad language but thats just a personal thing. I also was disappointed with the parents towards the middle of the book, I had more expectations for them. The mother also seems to become a better person but ends up being just as awful as she was in the beginning.

Sometimes the littlest one can be the biggest help.

This book will be available September 16, 2016

If you’re a fan of odd stories and books with parts of other languages in them you’ll love this book.

Much love,
