The Planet desperately needs more peacemakers, healers, restorers, storytellers and lovers of all kinds. -Dalai Lama
This is the month of love! Valentines Day is the biggest day of the month, stores even set out Valentines stuff for people to buy right after New Years day. For me, I don’t care too much about the cheap chocolates and roses. For me, I care about my husband and my son, and the love of my Father in heaven. The greatest love of all is the love of the Lord.
This month, I want to spend each day loving on someone different, telling them how loved they are because everyday when I read the scriptures Im told that Im loved.
If children are well loved, they tend to live loving, giving, hope-filled, relationally healthy lives. But if abuse or abandonment or even benign neglect is their primary experience, they tend to grow up empty, the voices inside their heads shouting you’ll never be enough.- J. kevin Butcher
Jesus is God’s son. He is a part of God, a nature of Him if you will. He was born, to a virgin named Mary, and was born without sin and His purpose was to save the world. You see when Adam and Eve were in the garden, they were in total relationship with Christ. They had no separation from Him. However, when they were kicked out of the garden, their sin, created a gap between them an the Lord. The Lord doesn’t want to be a part from His children.
Jesus was God’s way of sewing that gap back together, He died to save us from our sin. He gave us a way to be connected with our Father in heaven. There is no one who could pay that price for us. His blood, covers our sin and shows us the love of our Lord. His love is amazing and its so hard to describe because there is nothing that can be compared to it.
I don’t love you as if you were a rose of salt, topaz, or arrow of carnations that propagate fire! I love you as ore loves certain obscure things, secretly, between the shadow of the soul. -Pablo Neuda
