Fear Fighting by Kelly Balarie

We all live with fear. It hangs around, whispering in our ears, reminding us of all we can’t do or will never be. But that’s not the end of the story. We also have a God who draws close to say, Fear not. I am with you. This Spirit transforms us into fear fighters–women breaking free of trepidation to find bold dedication to God’s peace-, purpose- and joy-filled callings.

This book, was very encouraging but I felt like it was just like all the other books I’ve read on overcoming your fears.  It is awesome that is comes with a study guide. This book is very geared toward women in their mid 20’s to early 30’s, which I think is good because sometimes I think its easy to forget that younger women are also in a time of life where there can be scary change and devastation.

I don’t have much to say about this book mainly because it didn’t speak to me but I do think it is good for anyone who is going through a very trying situation. I gave this book a 3 out of 5 stars.

*Disclaimer: I received this book from Baker Books to read and review*
