September TBR

My to be read pile is a little small for next month but Im trying to be realistic! My due date isn’t until October 29 but I have the feeling she might be here before then so I didn’t want to be too over ambitious!

For September I plan on reading five books!

The first is “The Bear and the Nightingale”  by Katherine Arden, its about a girl whose mother believes in God even though she can see all the spirits around them. The young girl takes care of them but the mother wants them out and it causes big problems for all of Russia.

Next up is “Ill Will” by Dan Chaon, I received this book early, I won it in a giveaway by Shelf Awareness.

This book is about a psychiatrist whose brother was put in prison for killing his parents but the story he’s been told his whole life about what happened has been a lie.

“Talking as fast as I can” by Luren Graham is one Ive been wanting to read for awhile! I grew up watching Gilmore Girls and I still watch it now! I have always loved that show and so getting to read her story is so exciting to me!

The next one I know Ive read a million times but its one that I love to watch every fall,

“Harry Potter and the Sorcerers Stone” by J.K. Rowling, its a classic and a favorite that I have grown up with.

Finally the last one Ive been meaning to read for awhile, I was sent it to read and review and it went to my old address so I didn’t have it for a long time and I finally got it.

The “Quality of Silence” by Rosamund Lupton is a novel about survival in the harsh environment of Alaska.

What books are you planning on reading next month? Any that you’re very excited for?

Much love,

  1. Wow! You are really proactive with your TBR lists! For September I am trying to give myself a bit of breathing space. I have two more books I must read in August so I am finishing those next week and I am hoping to squeeze in an ARC. For September I am going to start with a couple ARCs and a book club read and then probably ad a couple more titles I am excited about.

    1. Thank you! I try to be, its hard because I have a toddler but I really love reading. Thats good, sometimes I feel like we have so many books we want to read but we try to do more than we can and then we stress out about it! What books are you reading for the rest of this month?
