Third trimester with a toddler

IMG_1781

I realize its been awhile so here’s an update on life! I am currently pregnant with our second child. Its a baby girl, her name will be Madison Renee, and she’s due October 29.  We have a toddler who is one, his name is Levi.

To say the start of the third trimester has been difficult would be an understatement. I definitely weigh more than I did with my son and I have had quite a few scares. She tried to come at 25 weeks and then again at 27 weeks, I am currently at 30 weeks. I am hoping she will make it to 35 weeks at least.

We are working on potty training with my son, and he is off of the pacifier, we have also been struggling with getting him used to sleeping in his own room. Once the baby is here she will be sleeping in our room and I cant have both a toddler and a newborn in the same room.

I’m trying to get back into writing, I work outside of the home and my husband and I worked it out so that one of us is home with our son and he doesn’t have to be in daycare. My son has had an ear surgery for tubes and an infection in his bone behind his ear. We have just had so much going on that whenever I get the chance, I sleep.

We have started working on the “ABCs”, Levi knows the word ‘Apple’ and we are trying to learn that its the start of the alphabet. He is learning so much!

Hope you other mommies are doing well and if your a mom with two under two I would appreciate any helpful tips you have!

Much love,

M

Gosh, I remember these days. Good luck with these last few months. I hope you manage to enjoy them alongside being mama to a gorgeous boy. My only advice is to love Levi as much as you can before baby comes – he needs to know he’ll always be mama’s little boy x

Thank you for the encouragement! Thats what Im trying to do, Im so worried he’s gonna think the baby is more important than him which is not true! I hope he sees how much we love him!
