Its been awhile but here I am with my April TBR, now I bought a lot of books in March, I didn’t make a post about it yet.
To start off we have Hygge: The Danish Art of Happiness by Marie Tourell Soderberg
I actually already read this one, I won’t ruin it for you but I will say it was worth reading for sure. Its the new trendy thing, and I understand why, its so popular. It kind of shows how to live a more peaceful and full life. I am so exited to implement what I read in this book.
Sailor Moon Vol. 6 by Naoko Takeuchi
I love Sailor Moon and I actually already read this one as well, I enjoyed this one because I feel like this is where the series really picks up! Sailor Moon is about this girl named Usagi, she’s a middle school student who finds out she’s a sailor scout and defeats bad guys in the name of the moon.
Loving Our Kids on Purpose by Danny Silk
This one I haven’t read! I got this for a small group that was supposed to start soon but was canceled so now Im choosing just to read it on my own. Its about connecting with your kids heart and being a better parents in certain aspects. Im excited to read this because I have my two little ones that I love to pieces.
Wildwood by Colin Meloy
Im currently reading this, its about a young girl whose brother is suddenly carried away by crows into this place called Wildwood. She lives in Oregon and one part is cities and towns and the other is an impassible wood as they call is that hasn’t been touched by anyone, as far as they know. Its her journey to get her brother back.
Water for Elephants by Sara Gruen
I didn’t know that this book, I first heard about this after I watched the movie with Robert Pattinson. I loved the movie so I am reading the book, its about this man telling his story about being the “vet” in a traveling circus. So far, Im enjoying the different perspective.
Little Women by Louisa May Alcott
I loved, loved this movie as a kid, and I love this Puffin in Bloom version! Its absolutely gorgeous! Its about a girl named Jo trying to become a writer as she and her sisters grow up during a time where women rarely got published.
See Me by Nicholas Sparks
I am a sucker for Nicholas Sparks novels, I just love them! I don’t know too much about this novel except for its about a guy named Colin whose led a life of trouble and is trying to be better.
Lets Pretend This Never Happened by Jenny Lawson
After reading Furiously Happy, I decided I had to read this one! Jenny Lawson is hilarious and its nice to read a book about an author who has experience and lives with some sort of mental illness! Im definitely excited to see what she has to say!
Those are all the books on my TBR for the month, Im not sure Ill get to them all because I only have the kids nap time and bedtime to read but Im hoping Ill at least read two of them.
