Parents want to raise respectful, responsible, and faith-filled kids. But when kids misbehave, parents often feel lost and confused, and don’t realize their discipline can make things worse in the long run.

As a mommy of a seven month old boy, who already gets into messes and trouble, I was very interested in reading this book. There was a ton of information and all of it was very helpful. I definitely feel more prepared to deal with my sons behavior as he grows now that I’ve read this. There are so many tips and questions that I hadn’t heard before, and ways to stop using the ‘Because I said so’ phrase.

I gave this book a 4 out of 5 stars because I did find that there weren’t as much information on how the parents can work together in the discipline. I wish I knew more about how both my husband and I can make discipline stick as a team instead of just one or the other. However, the book was still very helpful and very enlightening. I plan on reading more books by these authors in the future.

*Disclaimer: I received this book from Bethany House to read and review*
